Hilarious clean comedy for the family
I
thought I would share my opinion of the 10 funniest Christian stand up
comedians. What’s great about watching christian comedy is it’s clean
and you can watch with your entire family. The list includes comedians
Tim Hawkins, Chonda Pierce, Michael Junior, Ken Davis, Taylor
Mason, Brad Stine, Rich Praytor, Thor Ramsey, Jeff Allen and Aaron
Wilburn. They were the funniest in the Christian comedy genre. If
you haven’t watched Christian comedians before these guys will have you
rolling.
Benefits of Laughter
This
is Hilarious Christian humor at its best and the genre is only getting
better all the time. It’s important to exercise our facial muscles and
in Proverbs 17:22 it says, A merry heart doeth good
[like] medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. One of laughters
benefits is believed to include oxygenation of the blood, a bolstering
of the immune system through heightened T-cell activity and reduction in
stress hormones. Laughter is contagious and people love to be around
you when you giggle, laugh, or are tickelled about life.
There
is a severe lack of biblically-based content on television and in the
movies available for Christians. resulting in families and individuals
having to compromise their values or forgo onscreen entertainment
completely.
Tim Hawkins
Tim
has been blessed with numerous talents which include singer, song
writer, comedian and playing several musical instruments. He
impersonates several singers like Eric Clapton and others.
Jeff Allen
Jeff
has been around for a long time and his routine is family based. He has
a routine called happy wife, happy life and he is hilarious. My
favorite routine he does is the one where he teaches his teen aged son
how to drive.
Chonda Pierce
I
would say Chonda is the best female comedian I have come across. She
shares he southern charm in telling stories and is received well by her
audience. She is a best selling author.
Michael Jr.
A
great talent and very witty. His act is somewhat similar to Bill Cosby.
Michael does shows not only on television, but for the homeless,
prisons and many other benefits. He is appreciated and loved by his
audiences.
KEN DAVIS
Ken is an inspirational speaker and a best selling author. He is the biggest story teller of all.
Taylor Mason
Multi-talented,
performer, comedian, ventriloquist, singer-songwriter, entertainer,
rock’n’roller, blogger, political observer, author, puppeteer, pianist,
entertainer who works in every possible venue for every imaginable
audience.
Thor Ramsey
A naturally funny comedian who has been featured a few times of “Thou Shalt Laugh.”
Brad Stine
Has
been featured of fox and friends, HBO and other shows. Many have
referred to him as “God’s comic.” He is quite funny and talks about
being a Christian without being an idiot.
Rich Praytor
Author
of A Stand-Up Comic Sits Down with Jesus, Rich has won numerous awards
including the comedian of the year. Featured on numerous television
networks and radio programs.
Aaron Wilburn
He is a very funny comedian. Aaron has been a feature on the Gaither Homecoming Tour and videos.
