THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT



“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,  goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” Galatians 5:22-23

Have you ever seen mangoes growing on apple tree? Its impossible! Mango trees produce [grow] mangoes, and apple trees produce apples . When you become God’s child, He wants to produce fruit in you. This is spiritual fruit.  This fruit shows in your actions and words. It is what you are on the inside-your character. Obeying and serving God is what you do, but spiritual fruit is produce by what you are.

This fruit is produced in your life when you listen to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to be in control.

What is the result of controlling your own life? Bad fruit like jealousy, anger and selfishness are produced. When you obey the Spirit and allow Him to control you, good fruit is produced. The more you obey the Holy Spirit, the more the fruit of the Spirit grows and develops. What kind of fruit is seen in your  life? Is it good fruit or bad fruit?

Dear God help me to give my life to the Spirit and allow Him to produce good fruit in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We are glad to inform all aspirants of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria that the management of the institution is inviting all eligible 2017 JAMB UTME candidates for post UTME admission screening exercise for 2017/2018 academic session. Registration Begins for the Post UTME Screening Starts  Monday, 11th September, 2017   ends on Saturday 23rd September, 2017. UTME Screening Dates: Admission screening will take pace from Monday 25th to Saturday 30th September, 2017 as scheduled below.
